About the Template: The Jawn and his Table ft. Cloud Strife is the third in the Jawn's Table series, wherein the "table surface" pattern used was uniform to all the versions in the entire theme. The color scheme used was black and silver. The objects embedded in the layout only had shadow blending effects to make them look as if they are laid on the table--and just like the rest in the series, it features a certain anime character, which is obviously Cloud Strife from FFVII for this version. ^^

[About the Entry: Ahhh. Yung entry. That was a story to be submitted para sa Litt subject ko. Ang ending nya ay tragedy kasi at that moment, medyo malungkot ako. Hehehe. Newbie lang ako sa pagsusulat kaya hindi siya "extraordinary" story. LOL. Salamat ke kairee sa pagnominate. Nakakahiya. Wakokok. ^^]
Small talks and the smell of coffee fill the air as I enter the cafe. The usual faces of the crew greeted me as I entered, and I gave them recognition by nodding my head and giving a smile.
"This way sir, for two I guess?" the friendly waiter asked.
"Yes, we'll be meeting here... again,"
They knew who I am talking about coz we love having coffee breaks in that particular place.
"The same?" he inquired
"Yes, and a carrot cake."
I seldom order cakes because it contains too much sugar that I believe lessens my life two days in each bite but she just laughs whenever we argue about that. A smile crossed my face. Just thinking about the little things that she does makes me happy and I wonder if I'm demented or crazy. Maybe crazy in love, yes, but then we still have a lot of things to do, dreams to make and achieve. And I promised that to her when we lie next to each other watching the starry sky.

Independent?
It's June 12, 2007.
One hundred and nine years ago, the collaborative (to the Americans) First president of our first Philippine Republic waved his hongkong-made Quadritonic flag. He waved the flag to the tune of a march on the background, symbolizing our "independence."
Are we Independent?
We may be identified as Filipinos, as people of Mixed descents of Malay, Spanish, American, and Chinese-- some Japanese; we claim to be Not Dependent from colonial rule and whatnot. Are we? Our moves are very much watched by some nations, i.e. the United States of America; our President, on her first day in office on January 22, 2001 needed the blessing and recognition of some countries-- and with that she pays debt-of-gratitude by being Uncle Sam's pet puppy. Go ahead, contest my words, I dare you. And you may say that we need the world and its other inhabitants to exist and coexist; but think deeper first.
We are known for being the Nurse, Caregivers, and Domestic Helpers of the world. We serve at least 20 Nations in search of above-basic compensation so we can fund our families left here in our country. Why? Simply because our Government is purely, and on a higher level, a capitalist. It takes gentle care of its investors, entrepreneurs, and businessmen so that in return, it would receive perks and privileges, even though they fail to pay their dues for the national budget-- taxes. The gentle care includes granting these investors the benefit of [a] Raising their service/product prices, and [b] holding the minimum compensation to the lowest plausible. See? We really are naturally Nurses, Caregivers, and Domestic Helpers.
Our progress is held like a book author's, or a musician's. It is stuck at a monotone, a creative yet dull pattern of what was left by the yellow nothingness. Sure, Tobacco Man did some progressive moves; and the Fat Actor made us the laughingstock of the world-- The Shrunken Woman with Balls claims to have uplifted our economy. Economics 101. Macro and Micro economics; Common Sense: Everything big starts from something small. Our Macro Economics is building up, undoubtedly. The dispute is that the C, D, and E classes could not feel the growth; instead, we feel the opposite: Fare hikes abound, Basic Commodities pricing higher every half a month-- and it's very catalyst, Oil prices that can never be regulated. 50 centavos a week.
Celebrate our independence. Let's just celebrate. We are known for being Happy despite our depressive states: Filipinos.

"Are we there yet?" A male voice demanded.
"Just a little more!" the girl said.
"Mayu, look, I really don't have time for this!" He said impatiently. "Will you please let me go back to the dorm so that I could study in peace?"
"Why are you being such a nerd, Kai?" Mayu whined. "Alright! We're here!"
Kai blinked. "Mayu, this is the auditorium." he said in a blunt tone.
Mayu nodded. "That's right!"
"Why are we here?"
Mayu bounced up the auditorium stage. "I've always wanted to perform on this stage but I never got the chance..." Mayu said in a sad voice. Her eyes suddenly widened. "Hey, do you remember when we were kids? Your mom used to teach us how to dance."
